CrisWare has two offices in Denmark (Copenhagen and Silkeborg) and offices in Hanoi (Vietnam), Islamabad (Pakistan) and Tokyo (Japan).
The idea behind CrisWare was created through a co-operation with the Danish Civil Defense Agency in 1999. The first version of a computer based team training solution which made it possible to do focused and real time training of the communication flow was developed.
In 2002 the solution was sold to Lockheed Martin in Texas, USA. The feedback from Lockheed Martin and experience from the development were collected and evaluated. The following 4 years (2003 - 2007) were spend on intensive development with focus on the following six issues:
- Custom developed training scenarios should have a production time on two to five months
- The training scenarios should be photo realistic reproductions of the clients own environment
- The solution should be web based for making the training independent of physical presence
- The possibility of continuous upgrading to avoid clients having outdated versions
- The client should not be dependent on special hardware - the training should take place on standard computer equipment
- The price range should justify a fast ROI for the clients
CrisWare was officially founded in 2005 with offices in Denmark and Pakistan. The development and testing of the product was finished in 2006. On the 1st of January 2007 CrisWare contacted the first potential client.
In the end of 2007 CrisWare opened an office in Hanoi, Vietnam and Tokyo, Japan.
Late 2008 E-Learning was added to our list of services and our clients can now share their experience with each other through a pool of training exercises.
